Located between the Sierra Blanca mountains and the Mediterranean, Marbella enjoys it's own mild
micro-climate. The temperatures below are average daily shade temperatures. It's shorts and 'T' shirts
for the vast majority of the year, and a light jersey is generally adequate during winter months!
Along the coast and you can see the Rock of Gibraltar. Look to the left of the Rock (out to
sea) and you can see the Altas mountains of North Africa. Given the closeness of Marbella to the deserts of Africa, it
is no surprise that the sun shines for approx. 320 days per year and that the residents value every day when rain falls.
